(1) The Commission, election officer, polling officer or monitor may order any person who obstructs or aids or abets the conduct of voting or counting of votes or any other operation of the election to refrain from doing so and to leave such place. .
(2) The commission, election officer, polling officer or monitor may order the relevant security personnel to arrest a person who commits any act contrary to this Act or a person who disobeys the order given by the commission, election officer, polling officer or monitor in accordance with sub-section (1). When the election officer, polling officer or monitor orders the arrest in this way, the information should be given to the commission.
(3) According to sub-section (2), the relevant security personnel shall comply with the orders given by the commission, election officer, polling officer or monitor.
(4) Departmental action will be taken against security personnel who do not comply with the order given under sub-section (2). (5) The details of the arrest made as per sub-section (2) and the departmental action taken as per sub-section (4) shall be made public.
